We support employers to maximise their return on investment of the Apprenticeship Levy. With our dedicated Apprenticeship Recruitment team, HCUK Training can provide you and your organisation with the expertise and support to guide you effortlessly through this new system. We offer:
The opportunity to reclaim your levy costs is one not to be missed and, as long as you are offering recognised apprenticeship training, you can take advantage of the offer. It comes with the promise that you could get more out than you put in.
An e-voucher system will ensure that the funding process is not open to abuse, so you can be sure that the money you pay as a result of the levy will benefit organisations committed to apprenticeships.
The incentive payment is in addition to the £1,000 employers already receive for hiring an apprentice:
• aged 16 to 18 years old
• under 25 with an education, health and care plan or who has been in the care of their local authority
For apprentices with an employment start date from 1 April 2021 to 30 September 2021, applications are now closed.
You must set up an apprenticeship service account before you can apply.
To receive the full payment, the apprentice must remain employed by you and on their apprenticeship for at least one year.
The payment is different to apprenticeship levy funds, so you can spend it on anything to support your organisation’s costs. For example, on uniforms, your apprentice’s travel or their salary. You do not have to pay it back.
For apprentices with an employment start date from 1st October 2021 to 31st January 2022, applications open on 11th January 2022 and close on 15th May 2022.
They must also have an apprenticeship start date from 1st October 2021 to 31st March 2022.
Applications open on 11th January 2022 and close on 15th May 2022.
To receive the payment, you must submit an application for each eligible apprentice using your Apprenticeship service account after 11th January 2022.
You will need to add the apprentices to your Apprenticeship service account first. Find out how to apply.
