The groundwork Diploma offers students the chance to learn about the construction trade in our dedicated workshops, all fully equipped with the latest industry requirements and classrooms with interactive technology and supporting software. The course covers a variety of units such as: Move and Handle Construction Resources, Setting Out, Marking Out, brickwork, drainage pavign and kerb laying You will also have to work towards a GCSE or a Functional Skill in Maths and English. All materials and equipment necessary to complete the course are supplied. Students may progress onto the level 3 professional programme, or advanced apprenticeship. This course progresses the skills already learnt and aims to improve your chance of employability within this growing and exciting trade within the city.
