Learning English helps you to become part of the community in the UK; helping you to get on at work, if you want to go onto further education, and when you’re out and about. The English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Study Programme is a one year course where you can improve your reading, writing, speaking and listening skills through fun and interesting class activities, learn more about citizenship and life in the UK for government tests, and gain qualifications in ESOL and maths. This course can be the first step in your journey to higher education in the UK or at an English speaking university. You can progress onto the next level of ESOL or gain entry to a vocational course at Level 1 or Level 2.
