This qualification is designed to prepare students who are not quite ready for Level 2 studies, providing additional study time to progress onto Level 2 Beauty Therapy. Maths and English are a crucial part of this course, to support with completion of record cards and working out ratios of products, plus developing money handling skills. The core units you will cover are: Manicure and nail care Facial and skin care Make up application Nail art There is an opportunity for learners who progress well to work towards a Level 2 Certificate in Beauty Therapy within the same academic year.
