Overview: The HND Construction and Built Environment offers you a chance to take the next step in your career and make the step from on-site to in office. In an increasingly technological industry, you need the expertise and skills required by employers in the construction industry which is exactly what this course is designed to do. You’ll build up your skills to be effective in a management role, working on contract law, strategy, building technology, health and safety, and more. The course includes site visits (if safe to do so) and guest speakers, giving you a range of learning tools to help you progress. You can work in a number of sectors, whether local construction firms or nationally recognised companies. You could also progress onto our BSc (Hons) Construction Management course if you successfully complete the HND programme. Entry Requirements: The completion of a suitable L4 qualification, such as the HNC or a Certificate of HE is required for entry to this programme. The fast track PT programme is delivered with less teaching hours, so please do speak to the Programme Team about the hours you will be studying either remotely or within the classroom. Delivery Pattern: This programme is delivered over 30 weeks, normally consisting of two semesters (each of 15 weeks).
