Early Years Students Enjoy Trip CUG Scarborough Campus

October 11, 2021

Our second year level 3 Early Years students enjoyed a productive visit to the Scarborough Campus of Coventry University last week.

The trip provided the group with the opportunity to participate in taster sessions focused on early years and primary teaching, which saw them explore their creative talents using natural resources.

It also gave them the chance to experience university life and explore some of the course options available to them in Higher Education after completing their studies at the college. All students were given tips and advice on how to write personal statements and how to complete UCAS applications.

Reflecting on the visit, course tutor Jade Lanson Milner said: “On the whole, the trip proved to be a hugely beneficial experience for the group and has opened their eyes to the number of options available to them in Higher Education.

“Everyone has returned to college eager and excited to continue their learning and development with us, and are looking forward to starting their university applications. Huge thanks must also go to the Coventry University Group for being such excellent and welcoming hosts.”
