Overview: The FD in Photography is an innovative approach to studying in the vibrant Hull City Centre. The 2+1 model allows you to study in an industry centred approach that helps you develop the skills to work as a professional photographer whilst using professional facilities. The programme encourages and values imaginative and individual approaches to all forms of image capture whilst exploring current and emerging technologies. From commercial to fine art, experimentation is encouraged emboldening learners to formulate their own unique visual style. Students gain professional skills and a knowledge of the creative industries through guest lectures, photographic contests, group exhibitions, and student focused publications resulting in an individualised portfolio to jumpstart a career in photography.
