Course Overview

The Level 3 Diploma in ICT Systems and Principles study programme is for those learners who have a keen interest in networking theory and practical and is ideal for those looking to progress in their career or gain new ICT skills. You’ll be working with ICT networking hardware and equipment, network operating systems, software installation and upgrades. You will also be working with network security, cabling and connection concepts, OSI, network topologies and protocols. You will be required to install, test and diagnose network equipment and software also test, diagnose and rectify faults as well as managing network software and services. This course leads to employment or into a Higher Apprenticeship or into degree level studies. The careers this qualification can lead to, but not limited to, a supervisory role in ICT environments such as: Network Administration Network Support and Installation Engineer IT Product Support System Support Desk Administration
