Do you want to pursue a career in the police? Our brand new policing course aims to provide you with the specialist knowledge, skills and understanding relating to working within the Police force. The Extended Diploma in Policing will give you the opportunity to participate in a wide range of outdoor and physical activities. You will learn about leadership skills, equality, diversity and inclusion, crime scene investigations, neighbourhood policing, values and standards in the police, preparing for a career in the police force, UK legal systems and the police service and develop aspects of physical fitness for entry into the Police service, as well as developing your employability skills. Successfully completing this course will allow you to progress on to higher education to study on various policing degree programmes (Policing Foundation degree, BA Public Service, Bsc Professional Policing Degree) as well as the Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship (PCDA). Equally you will be prepared to move into a range of employment roles within the police service (Police Officer, PCSO, Detention Officer, Investigation Officer)
